Hi, my name is Hazel, and I am a Client Service Representative at Sugar River Animal Hospital. I joined the team in July 2023, and though I work remotely, I play a vital role in making sure pet parents receive the help and support they need from the moment they call. Born in Libya and raised in the Philippines, I have experienced a wide variety of cultures and communities, which gives me a unique and compassionate perspective when working with clients.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
At home, I share my life with two beloved dogs—Gypsy, a sweet Dachshund mix, and Basha, a loyal Belgian Malinois. I also fondly remember my first rescue, a pit bull named Chobi.
Outside of work, I enjoy quiet days at home with my dogs, hiking local trails, taking long scenic drives, and relaxing by the beach while listening to the waves.
Why I Chose This Profession
My love for animals started early—growing up on a small farm and always surrounded by dogs helped shape my interest in veterinary care.

Before joining Sugar River Animal Hospital, I briefly worked as a veterinary receptionist, where I assisted clients, answered phones, and supported the veterinary team. Since joining Sugar River Animal Hospital, I have continued to grow in my role, assisting clients with appointment scheduling and answering questions with warmth and professionalism.
